PROJECT NAME: Aggie Sports Poster Haldorsdottir

GOAL STATEMENT: Design a sports poster highlighting Asdis Haldorsdottir first goal and selection as SEC Freshman of the Week.   

DESIGN NOTES: The gritty poster includes three pictures taken of Haldorsdottir’s 2 Sept 2018 goal and goal celebration, which was her first goal as an Aggie and in the SEC.  Haldorsdottir is covered in a translucent cut-out of the flag of Iceland to celebrate her nationality and the global impact of Icelandic football.  Other images include the scoreboard at the Aggie Soccer Stadium Ellis Field with the message “Welcome to Ellis Field.”  Also pictured is the Aggie Seal as seen from Ellis Field (on the side of Reed Arena), the grand stand where the Aggie student body sit (with the A&M logo and Aggie slogans) and the end line stands with Aggie slogans denoting “Home of the 12th Man,” (indicating the fans are the Aggie’s 12th player ready to support the team in anyway, but especially with their enthusiasm and motivation).
