PROJECT NAME: Botticelli exhibit tri-fold brochure/advertisement
GOAL STATEMENT: Design a tri-fold brochure to advertise the Botticelli exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Fine Art (MOMA). The Tri-fold should reflect the quality of the museum and the artist. The MOMA is one of the most prestigious museums in the world with exhibits by world-renowned artists. Botticelli is considered one of the greatest artist of the Renaissance.
DESIGN NOTES: The tri-fold brochure is to advertise both the MOMA and the specific Botticelli exhibit. Contact information, hours, and a map, are included to make the MOMA more accessible. The tri-fold brochure has examples of Botticelli’s most famous paintings to entice patrons that may not have a significant education in art history. Though Botticelli may not be a household name, some of his paintings are recognizable to the general-public. The colors of the brochure match colors popular in Botticelli’s paintings. The serif drop first letter of the paragraphs is to add a sense of dramatic flare to the brochure to symbolize the flare of Botticelli’s paintings. The Filigree corners emphasize the intricacies and depth associated with Botticelli. .
