DESIGN NOTES: This was designed with other successful NWSL teams in mind. The Portland and Utah teams have shone remarkable success, and Orlando showed similar success early on when it seemed to be following the Portland and Utah model. Aggressive black and red colors. Pure football/ soccer mentality. Attract dynamic cross-cultural crowd.
The Utah team is the most recent addition to the league and have posted the highest attendance in the league. Portland is one of the original teams in the NWSL and has achieved the most success in attendance and merchandising. In 2017 the average attendance was 17K.
